After 14 years of living and working in New York city,
my husband and I were transferred to the suburbs of Rochester, NY. While some might think this move would come as a shock, it was actually a blessing - allowing me to start a family and rediscover my passion for riding. Having grown up in Fairfield, CT I was no stranger to horses or ponies. In fact my childhood memories are filled with pony clubbing, trail riding, and horse show adventures. So, while I miss the glitz and glamour of the Big Apple, I’ve enjoyed rediscovering my love for horses.

Pony Bling™began over a casual dinner with girlfriends lamenting over how we could pay for the extra horse expenses we were all incurring that summer. I happened to be entering my 14th year in the insurance industry and was desperate for a change. Having just started riding again for the first time in a decade, I mentioned how surprised I was by how little had changed when it came to riding gear and accessories. That night I pitched my idea of bringing a little sparkle or “bling-bling” to the ring for horses and riders. As the conversation continued, we agreed that we could “bring bling to the ring” in an eye catching yet sophisticated manner.
